Crumbling sea captain’s home is being dismantled ever so slowly.
For 10 plus years the Taylor family vacationed at their oceanfront beach cottage. During the 1940s, Charles W. Angle purchased the cottage, enjoying the sound of the ocean’s tide until 1954, when Mrs. Nellie G. Howard purchased the cottage and began operating Howard’s Manor. With nine guestrooms and three home-cooked meals daily, the guesthouse was a forerunner in providing the warm southern hospitality Myrtle Beach is known for today. Howard’s Manor was advertised as a place where friends meet each year with the beach at their front door.

To use a different metaphor, it would be equivalent to suggesting that the images on the screen of a computer can change the software of the computer. For me though, perhaps the most important implication of the regulating and healing effects of hypnosis (and also the placebo effect) are what they suggest about the relationship between the mind and the body. In modern materialistic science, the mind is usually seen as a kind of "shadow" of the brain. Mental activity is a product of — and is equivalent to — brain activity.

The DIY book shares how to create a space for living, breathing, and enjoying a sustainable home and life. Home design, style expert, and Junaglow founder Justina Blakeney shares how to live with pattern, color, and plants in her second book. When we think of midcentury modern design, titans like Charles and Ray Eames, Florence Knoll, and Eero Saarinen probably come to mind. But this book views design through a sociological lens and highlights how race, gender, and identity affected the aesthetic choices of the much referenced era.

In fact, reviewers rave about the book’s representation of many different styles, from the rustic and DIY to the fantastically modern. Zeiger beautifully represents rustic treehouses, airy domes, and recycled-scrap structures alike, complementing the vivid photography with detailed building plans and illustrations. We certainly appreciate books focused on modern, sustainable home design and building from the ground up — and Conran’s insights can be applied to new home construction projects. But what we love most about this book is the focus on making eco-friendly upgrades to existing structures.
What does the absolute perfect modern, sustainable home design project look like to you? You may be picturing a brand-new build that starts with nothing but an empty patch of grass — after all, the greenest buildings tend to be the newest buildings, designed from the very beginning with sustainability in mind. But this is not typically the case — many sustainable building endeavors are based around existing structures.
The guide we envision isn’t just a collection of building instructions; it’s a roadmap to transforming a vision into a tangible, livable structure. Our beliefs and intentions seem to be able to activate innate self-regulating and even self-healing powers. A hypnotist simply creates the conditions under which these powers can be activated.
When it comes to how houses perform, professionals and homeowners must balance the practical against the technically feasible—and many common home-construction tropes are simply untrue. This book explodes the myths, misinformation, and plain old nonsense that pervade the world of home building, remodeling, maintenance, and operation. Commune is a design firm that I admire immensely, so I pour over this book and have for years. They do so many different kinds of projects but all of them have something unexpected that creates a tension you can’t look away from. Hilary Robertson is a master stylist and editorial storyteller and this book is full of inspiration without any color in a good way (we highlighted that dark navy wall, but most of it is white, neutral or black). This is where a comprehensive guidebook becomes an invaluable tool, turning overwhelming challenges into achievable tasks.

Last-minute cruises can get you serious discounts, as can stacking cash-back opportunities with shopping portals such as Rakuten. To optimize your time off, you'll probably want to try to leave from the closest port possible. If you're on the East Coast, for example, leaving from Miami would require far less travel time than leaving from L.A. Disney Cruise Line is at the top of my list because it is the best for toddlers.
The Best Cruise Lines
Another one of the first things cruisers should do on embarkation day is to place their cell phones in airplane mode. Once your cruise ship sails away from the port, you will begin to incur a barrage of roaming fees for data usage even if you aren’t actively using your phone. Cruise ships will be sailing at reduced capacity, and COVID testing will be required at embarkation (and likely disembarkation).

Most of the cruise lines do not have any dress codes for their events onboard. But you must pack both casual and formal dresses for the cruise. If you are embarking at a different city you’ll need to book hotels in the port city. So, arrive a day early and book a hotel close to the cruise terminal.
Consider a specialist cruise booking agent
Completing all of these questions, and especially taking the photo, saves so much time in the cruise terminal. If you want to make the check-in process as fast and easy as possible at the cruise terminal, be sure to download the Royal Caribbean app and do the online check-in process. Once you have your cruise booked, you'll want to tackle all the extra purchase you could buy.
Establish a budget
Once you’ve booked your cruise, you’ll need to submit some documentation, such as an ID, a health declaration, and a credit card to keep on file. If the number of destinations seems a little overwhelming, remember that you've already narrowed down your options by establishing your budget and cruise length. For example, a 168-night cruise on luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas — with dozens of stops in ports around the globe — costs more than $97,000 per person.
Start Planning Your Excursions & Adventures
No one wants to start off a cruise vacation feeling tired or jet-lagged. One of the biggest cruise mistakes you can make is not appropriately arranging transportation to and from the cruise ship. Remember, the ship is going to leave with or without you, so it is up to you to make sure you are onboard before sail away. For instance, with Norwegian Cruise Line’s Free at Sea promotion, you could score 2 to 5 perks for “free” when booking. Even if your receive these perks for free, you will still be responsible for the 20% service charge on drink packages and dining plans.
Jeans are okay any night as long as they don’t have any rips or tears. Obtained the appropriate visas and received the vaccinations required for travel to certain areas of the world? Start the process for all of these with ample time to spare before your sailing. All cruise lines have their own niches, but individual vessels within a line's fleet can vary widely in terms of onboard ambiance and amenities. You'll want to choose wisely, which is where a breakdown of the best cruise lines for different travel types can be helpful.
Best Activities for Grandparents and Grandchildren on a Cruise Royal Caribbean Cruises
On some of the larger ships (mainly from Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line), reservations are required for certain entertainment and onboard activities. If you are new to cruising or even if you have cruised before, you need to be aware that cruising will look quite a bit different, at least initially, when ships start sailing again in 2021. Some brands like Norwegian Cruise Line offer a “ship within a ship” concept, the Haven, which provides a true VIP experience. Celebrity Cruises offers Aqua Class cabins which include unlimited access to the Thermal Suite and an exclusive restaurant. With that said, regardless of whether your cruise destination is seasonal or year-round, the price will vary depending on the time of year.

In addition to extra toiletries, cruising regulars often bring Clorox wipes or something similar to wipe down surfaces in their cabin upon arrival (and to bring along on shore excursions). I admit, I've never done this, though I know I should — if only to wipe off the remote control for the cabin TV. If you've read this far, you are likely a first-time cruiser looking for advice for an upcoming trip, and that's exactly what this story is meant to offer.
When packing for a cruise, you will need to consider your cruise destination. Regardless of with whom you book, you could miss out on some of the fun if you wait too long. These experiences can and do sell out, especially with reduced capacity restrictions. Booking early will not only secure a lower price, it will also secure a better cabin.
Onboard, you’ll be able to choose from an abundance of onboard dining options, both complimentary and specialty. If you are trying to get a seat at the hottest specialty restaurants however, you’ll want to make a reservation before you sail. Relive the memories from your vacation with professional photos of your favorite moments onboard. Our photographers capture the joy of your adventure — from embarkation to formal night — and all the fun in between. Plus you’ll enjoy savings of up to 20% when you purchase a print or digital package before you sail. If so, you might want to book your top two to three (if not all of your) shore tour picks in advance (online or by phone) since many popular ones do sell out.
If you are new to cruising, we outline several cruise tips that we have learned over the years in this Beginner's Guide to Planning a Cruise. Several Canadian families embarking on a cruise from Hong Kong missed their departure as their flight from Toronto was delayed. They had to fly from Hong Kong to Hanoi and then hire a mini-bus to take them to Halong Bay, the ship’s next port of call. An independent traveller by nature, I initially resisted doing this and finally caved in and used an agent when booking a Baltic Sea cruise. Suites are much larger than the standard cabins but not all will have a balcony, favouring a floor-to-ceiling window.
You’ll find plenty of three- to five-night itineraries for close-to-home locales like the Bahamas, Caribbean, or Mexico, for instance. However, keep in mind that shorter cruises mean fewer ports of call and less time to unwind and get oriented on the ship, which could ultimately take away from an optimized cruise experience. Due to supply and demand, sailing outside of the peak periods means that if you’re willing to sacrifice the most ideal weather conditions, you’ll enjoy less-crowded ports. There will generally be more crowds and higher prices at other times of year when the kids are out of school.
Make sure you know what your base fare includes before you book. On any cruise that isn't all-inclusive (and some that are), you're likely to spend a fair bit of money during your holiday. Extras might include your bar bill, spa treatments, any excursions booked onboard, anything you buy in the shops and specialty restaurant fees.
This guide offers nine essential steps to ensure your cruise vacation is enjoyable and well-suited to your travel style. Cruise ships offer shore excursions, essentially tours that take place in each port. A drink package can save you money and hassle when you’re sailing, so if you're looking to really get into vacation mode it pays to buy a drink package before setting foot on the ship.
Plus, through Nov. 27, you'll also receive as much as $650 in additional discounts ($150 per person for up to four people sharing a cabin). You can also save up to 55% on pre-cruise purchases through Royal Caribbean Cruise Planner. Now is one of the best times to purchase add-ons like drink and internet packages, specialty dining, and more. The sailing must be booked by November 28, 2023 and applies to select voyages that are 3+ nights through April 30, 2026. Many travel companies will extend deals to the Tuesday after, as that day is commonly referred to as "Travel Tuesday." Airlines, hotels, and even cruise lines tend to have deals to entice customers to book with them. Perhaps best of all, you can also book this with the cruise line’s “Have it All” offer that provides specialty dining, shore excursions, beverage package and wi-fi for one cost. One thing to know is that Seabourn includes lots with the cruise fare, including alcohol, restaurants, wi-fi, gratuities, and even caviar. That means the onboard credit could be used to really pamper yourself, such as with spa treatments or high-end shore excursions. Before we dive into this year’s deals, there is one thing to know.
Oceania Cruises Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deal: Savings of up to $5,400 per Stateroom

This includes trips aboard the line’s newest class of ships Celebrity Edge, Apex and Beyond. Norwegian Cruise Line:
Occasionally, however, you might see some added incentives offered for Cyber Monday to sweeten an already established Black Friday deal. Examples include extra onboard credit, cabin upgrades or additional discounts. Aside from actually sailing, part of the thrill of booking a cruise is finding and snagging that irresistible deal that ticks all the boxes.
The line is also rolling crew gratuities in with the price — a savings of more than $100 per person. Plus, with this promotion, you can choose to upgrade to the line's "Have It All" premium package. It includes Wi-Fi, beverage packages, specialty dining and shore excursions for a discounted rate, compared with purchasing those add-ons individually. The intimate ships and gourmet dining options of Oceania Cruise make the cruise experience refined and upscale. Travelers can enjoy discounted fares, free gratuities, and onboard credits during Cyber Monday, which makes it possible to have a truly luxurious vacation.
One thing to keep in mind is that Royal Caribbean has some terms on its “kids sail free” offer. We noticed that in the fine print it excludes times like Spring Break, Christmas holidays, and many summer sailings. In other words, many of the times when kids are out of school, they will still see a fare charge.

Please view our advertising policy and product review methodology for more information. American Airlines Cruises has a similar portal that allows you to enjoy perks like waived deposits and bonus AAdvantage miles. While exact release dates vary from line to line, you can typically expect to start seeing deals pop up a week or so before Thanksgiving and typically extend into Cyber Monday.
If you’re booking a cruise vacation, you’ll find there are benefits to both strategies. Planning ahead is a great way to score big savings, as Royal Caribbean often runs early saver deals to guests booking well in advance. It’s also pretty safe to assume prices usually go up as availability goes down the closer you get to your sail date, so booking ahead is a surefire way to lock in a great rate. That said, booking a cruise at the last minute can also yield some unexpected savings — but only if the itinerary you’re interested in hasn’t sold out yet. For reservations made by Dec. 1, travelers can save as much as 40% off a Holland America cruise on more than half of its global itineraries.
\n \n Keep reading to learn about Thanksgiving season specials, and what to expect from all the savings each cruise offer includes. There are plenty of Cyber Monday deals for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, which offers innovative ships and exciting onboard activities. They offer cruisers great value, including discounted fares, onboard credits, and free upgrades.
Virgin is providing a sale that’s 30% off of select sailings through 2024, but up to $600 worth in free drinks. Below, we’ve rounded up all the deals we could find for the major cruise lines. For cruise lines that have yet to announce their deals, we’ve included last year’s offer to give you an idea of what to expect. You won’t go wrong by booking one of the deals, but at the same time, don’t expect these to be once-in-a-lifetime offers. If now is not the best time for you to book, you can usually expect similar offers down the road.
Many lines are offering Cyber Monday cruise sales that feature fare discounts, free Wi-Fi and drinks, "kids sail free" offers, cabin upgrades and other perks and bonuses. In the big ship category, free onboard perks can represent the biggest value, so if you see a free drinks package or free Wi-Fi bundled together with the fare, they can translate to hundreds of dollars in savings. Luxury cruise lines, on the other hand, are mostly all-inclusive so here you'll be looking for deals that include generous sums of onboard credit, complimentary airfare deals and suite upgrades.
Popular vacation dates — like the holidays, spring break, summer vacation and week long cruises — sometimes see the highest prices (though you might get lucky with a seasonal sale). If you have the flexibility to travel during the shoulder season or off season, you’ll likely enjoy big savings on popular stateroom categories, like Balconies and even Suites. All inclusive deals, like our Ultimate Beverage Package or our Taste of Royal dining package, are some of our best cruise deals. They’re a great way to rack up the savings on cocktails and delicious food onboard versus paying a la carte.
Saga Sapphire and Saga Pearl 2 were both withdrawn from service/left the fleet after two new ships (Spirit of Discovery/2019 and Spirit of Adventure/2020) were delivered. In August 2019 was announced that Saga Sapphire will be acquired by ANEX Tours (Turkey's largest travel agency/tour operator), starting operations for ANEX in mid-2020. However, due to the global health crisis in 2020, the 39-year-old liner was officially sold to ANEX Tours in July 2020.

There’s an outdoor sports area, and they have a Fairway golf simulator. One of the things I really wanted to talk about solo cabins. 20% or 109 cabins on board the Spirit of Discovery are solo cabins.

On select cruise itineraries, you will be entertained by celebrities. But the best part of all is that with no children on board, kids' games arcades or clubs taking up space, everything aboard is designed for your pleasure. Among the signature venues onboard are the Britannia Lounge (2-level Atrium bar lounge), The Verandah (specialty restaurant) and an outdoor (alfresco dining) restaurant.
That means exclusive offers, an extended chauffeur service, priority boarding and even a free cruise (depending on your level of membership). A couple of things that I really liked about this more as a ship geek is this that there is a really great connection to the ocean. If you walk around the promenade deck four times, you’ve done one mile.

A 22-night springtime round-trip sailing aboard Spirit of Adventure on this Athens and the Greek Islands itinerary departs Portsmouth on April 17, 2024, and costs from £7,162pp. Crete, Kefalonia and Hydra are featured in addition to the mainland points of Katakolon and Piraeus (for Athens). The many inclusions, such as its door-to-door chauffeur service and reputation for looking after customers in adverse circumstances, attract customers well into their 70s and 80s.

The fourth thing that I’ve identified as being really good about the ship are the cabins. At the back of the ship there’s a magnificent terrace area, where you can sit and watch the world go by. It’s different because it was specifically designed for Saga.

No guarantee where the captain sails but there are all-inclusive drinks and tours as well as entertainment from Syd Lawrence Orchestra on 6 nights. VIP Chauffeur service is guaranteed to and from the port, all included in the fare, along with travel insurance. Another surprise is the array of mystery celebrities/VIP guests on Saga Sapphire. For the end of 2017 (November and December), Saga Cruises offered 3 fly-cruises.
Another really good thing on board the Spirit of Discovery is the all-inclusive nature of the fare. In the spa you, of course, have traditional spa treatments, a pretty big salon area, a large steam room and sauna area and a great hydrotherapy pool area. So, lots of space dedicated to the pampering side of wellness. In terms of entertainment and activities they have a large enrichment program.
A little closer to home, Douarnenez and Port-Vendres in France and the sheltered Scottish harbour of Holy Loch in Loch Lomond will be some of the lesser-visited highlights. There are plenty of options to escape the British winter and head to the warmth of the Canary Islands, with their volcanoes, rain forests, mountains, cities and fishing ports. A highlight for the year will be Porto da Praia’s return to Saga’s schedule on the Cape Verde and the Canary Islands cruise.

Until 2020, Saga Holidays operated two ships under charter - Saga Sapphire and Saga Pearl 2. The former fleetmate Saga Ruby was built and launched under the name "MS Vistafjord" for NCL/Norwegian America Line. In 1983, the vessel was sold to Cunard, and in 1999 renamed "MS Caronia". It was operated as "Saga Ruby" until 2014 when was sold to a Chinese company, renamed "Oasia", operated as a hotel ship until 2017, then scrapped at Alang India. Our smaller ships are the perfect choice if you’re cruising solo. There is a chance you may be upgraded, although this is subject to cabin availability and in no way forms part of this offer.
Choose from a selection of cabins, with French balconies available on selected ships. Cruise the Douro Valley aboard our latest river ship, which begins sailing under the Saga flag in 2024. Earlier this summer, a studio head chided Lindsay Lohan for her behaviour on a movie set in a letter leaked to the press, and an ABC deal with Mel Gibson's production company to produce a four-part series on the Holocaust was cancelled after his alleged anti-Semetic remarks during a drunk-driving arrest. Tom Cruise's production company has signed a two-year financing deal with an investment partnership after breaking ties last week with Paramount Pictures. Cruise's first post-Paramount professional announcement was underwhelming for a star who had generated $3 billion at the box office in his 14 years at the studio. In August, Cruise/Wagner secured a two-year financing deal with First and Goal L.L.C., an investor group headed by Daniel Snyder, owner of the Washington Redskins and chairman of the Six Flags amusement parks. Since then, Cruise seemed more interested in cheering at his kids' soccer games and planning his wedding to Katie Holmes this month in Italy than acting or deal-making. What emerged was what Ms. Wagner describes as a hybrid between a studio and a production company.
Why Tom Cruise joining forces with Warner Bros. is a bigger deal than you think
Wagner and Tom Cruise were the founders, it has grossed more than $2.9 billion in box office proceeds since its inception. Ms. Wagner carries herself with the poise of someone who once worked as a theater actress and a talent agent before becoming Mr. Cruise’s collaborator and the public face of his entrepreneurial and filmmaking ambitions. Mr. Cruise declined to be interviewed for this article, because, Ms. Wagner says, he prefers that she speak publicly about their mutual business interests. All of them experienced mixed results as they ran up against the brutal economics of a hit-and-miss industry in which independents often lack the size needed to overcome the financial vagaries of filmmaking. According to people involved in the talks, the question of whether Mr. Cruise, whom Mr. Sloan did not know previously, was past his prime or a loose cannon came up, particularly among MGM’s private equity investors.
Paula Wagner looking to exit UA - Hollywood Reporter
The film follows the life of famous 1970s runner Steve Prefontaine from his youth days in Oregon to the University of Oregon where he worked with the legendary coach Bill Bowerman, later to Olympics in Munich and his early death at 24 in a car crash. Wagner slammed Redstone last week, calling his comments "surprising" and unbusinesslike. She said it was their decision to walk away from a 14-year partnership with Paramount.

This was the film production company of actor Tom Cruise and his former agent Paula Wagner, formed in July 1992 and often known as C/W Productions. At the time the company was formed, Wagner had been representing Cruise for 11 years. The company was formed to give Cruise more creative freedom over his film projects and to give him the opportunity to produce and direct motion pictures. Cruise/Wagner Productions, also abbreviated as C/W Productions was an American independent film production company. UA's future seemed uncertain after Sony, Comcast and a group of private equity firms acquired its parent MGM in 2004.
Beyond saying that the plan is to live up to the United Artists legacy of making talent feel like partners rather than employees, and a goal of releasing four to six films a year distributed by MGM, Ms. Wagner says that little else is set in stone. Sumner M. Redstone, the chairman of Viacom, Paramount’s owner, contended that he had fired Mr. Cruise for “inappropriate” behavior that had hurt his studio’s bottom line. Mr. Cruise’s defenders accused Mr. Redstone of grandstanding and said that, actually, both sides had already been planning to part amicably. The latter is responsible for some of the best work of Cruise’s late-stage career, and the former got McQuarrie what’s now clearly a much-deserved second chance as a director. Neither would be where they are now without the other, or without a 6’5”, 250-pound ex-military drifter whose pecs are so big they have rendered him immune to bullets. What is extraordinary is everything else about it, from DP Caleb Deschanel’s work behind the camera (the way that he stages the aforementioned shooting through the scope of the sniper’s rifle is inspired) to a stacked cast that includes everyone from Werner Herzog to Robert Duvall.
Zaslav met Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish in December about a potential deal between the $29 billion (€26 billion) and $10 billion (€9 billion) companies, respectively. Cruise himself said that “I have great respect and admiration for David, Pam, Mike, and the entire team at Warner Bros. Discovery and their commitment to movies, movie fans, and the theatrical experience,” in a Warner Bros. press release.
Over the next two months, the three conducted a series of private meetings at Mr. Sloan’s office and home that involved contingents of lawyers and agents. Mr. Cruise, Mr. Redford and Ms. Streep have all deferred their usual upfront fees or percentages of gross revenue in exchange for cumulatively splitting half of the film’s profit with UA. It’s unclear as of now how this deal between Cruise and Warner Bros. will manifest and what films will follow. Particularly for his decisions to slash budgets, removal of TV series from streaming (Westworld) and shelving films altogether (Batgirl).
Cruise/Wagner Productions, also abbreviated as C/W Productions, was an American independent film production company. Wagner had been representing Cruise for eleven years before the formation of C/W Productions. The company has grossed more than $2.9 billion in box office proceeds since its inception.
Rather than the overhead deal they had at Paramount, Mr. Sloan proposed establishing an autonomous studio within a larger studio — a structure akin to the relationship that Mr. Spielberg’s studio, DreamWorks, now has with Paramount, but with real ownership attached. Under these new business arrangements, big-name producers can control nearly every aspect of filmmaking — even the most exalted perk, the ability to greenlight a picture. Big studios remain crucial to a film’s success under this new model, but largely as marketers and distributors. Ms. Wagner is the chief executive of UA — as the studio is commonly known — while Mr. Cruise bears no official title except, perhaps, the world’s most famous movie star. Unlike Ms. Wagner, Mr. Cruise does not draw a salary from UA, according to a person with direct knowledge of the arrangement. The idea is that his ownership stake alone will align the interests of Tom Cruise the actor with Tom Cruise the studio grandee.
Drew Baylor is fired after causing his shoe company to lose hundreds of millions of dollars. On the verge of ending it all, Drew gets a new lease on life when he returns to his family's small Kentucky hometown after his father dies. When Ethan Hunt, the leader of a crack espionage team whose perilous operation has gone awry with no explanation, discovers that a mole has penetrated the CIA, he's surprised to learn that he's the No. 1 suspect. To clear his name, Hunt now must ferret out the real double agent and, in the process, even the score.
First & Goal was specifically set up to invest in Cruise/Wagner, as Snyder moves from sports to entertainment along with partners Dwight Schar, chairman of homebuilder NVR Inc., and Mark Shapiro, president and CEO of Six Flags Inc., the amusement park chain where Snyder serves as chairman of the board. Last week, Wagner said her company had secured funding from two hedge funds, a separate arrangement from the deal with First & Goal. Learn how this low-budget film influenced the plot, the production design, and even the lighting...
But when he saw Mr. Cruise’s broad smile flashed across the evening news during the Paramount dust-up, he decided to give him and Ms. Wagner the UA shingle to hang. Mr. Cruise is not obligated to appear in any UA films, though the incentive of owning a large chunk of the print, as well as the bragging rights and perquisites that entails, is meant to be a strong motivator for him to ply his “day job — or night job,” as Ms. Wagner puts it, at UA. Journalist Stephen Glass, who rose to meteoric heights as a young writer in his 20s, becoming a staff writer at The New Republic for three years. Looking for a short cut to fame, Glass concocted sources, quotes and even entire stories, but his deception did not go unnoticed forever, and eventually, his world came crumbling down.
The spat between the star of Top Gun, War of the Worlds and the Mission Impossible movies, and Paramount is the latest example of tension between actors and executives after what Hollywood analysts are calling a down summer for film revenues. That November, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios came to Cruise/Wagner with a deal that gave them a percentage of the ownership of United Artists in a effort to revive the company. The deal fell apart in August 2008 when Wagner left the studio, effectively ending the company. Now Tom Cruise is taking his star power to Warner Bros. to produce a new wave of films. In anticipation of the movie's silver anniversary, The Hollywood Reporter checks in with the actors who breathed life into the dead and undead characters of Interview With the Vampire.
The announcement that Cruise has now tied his mast to the Warner Bros. ship is therefore a big boon for the production studio. Discovery CEO David Zaslav has said he wanted to work with more top talent both in front and behind the camera, and you can’t get much bigger than Cruise. With computer genius Luther Stickell at his side and a beautiful thief on his mind, agent Ethan Hunt races across Australia and Spain to stop a former IMF agent from unleashing a genetically engineered biological weapon called Chimera. This mission, should Hunt choose to accept it, plunges him into the center of an international crisis of terrifying magnitude.
